Responsibilities:
Lead Innovation: Take the helm of cloud-based projects, overseeing the design, development, and deployment of innovative solutions using cutting-edge technologies in cloud architecture, DevSecOps, and Agile methodologies.
Shape the Future of Security: Implement critical security measures to protect against national security threats by continuously assessing vulnerabilities and optimizing risk management processes.
Manage with Impact: Act as the go-to technical expert for stakeholders, managing cloud engineering initiatives and ensuring that project objectives align with customer requirements and national security KPIs.
Architect Excellence: Develop, refine, and manage cloud systems across various platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, making sure our systems are reliable, scalable, and secure.
Solve Complex Problems: Troubleshoot and resolve issues swiftly, ensuring smooth software development and minimizing code defects throughout the lifecycle.
Drive Automation: Champion the adoption of automated processes, helping the team work smarter, faster, and more efficiently, while reducing manual intervention and potential for error.
Continuous Improvement: Lead the evolution of our DevSecOps processes, ensuring they’re not only maintained but optimized to meet customer needs and drive long-term success.
Collaborate & Communicate: Serve as the key technical liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring clear communication, effective troubleshooting, and a high level of customer satisfaction.
Be a Visionary: Lead, mentor, and inspire your team, creating a collaborative, high-performance environment that drives successful project delivery and fosters innovation.
Qualifications:
Proven experience working with Linux/Windows-based infrastructure.
Hands-on expertise in cloud technologies, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, and related technologies to create robust, efficient cloud-based solutions.
Deep experience configuring and managing databases (MySQL, MongoDB, relational, and NoSQL).
A knack for troubleshooting, ensuring smooth processes and fixing bugs as they arise.
Expertise in CI/CD tools such as GitLab or Jenkins to streamline development workflows.
A solid foundation in DevSecOps and Agile principles to drive the development of secure, scalable cloud infrastructure.
Excellent project management skills, capable of planning, executing, and delivering complex projects that exceed expectations.
Nice to Haves:
CompTIA Security+ Certification or similar.
AWS Certified Developer Associate or Solution Architect (Azure or GCP certification is also a plus).
Certification or experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab or Jenkins).
ITIL Certification is a bonus for streamlining IT service management.
