USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments

HOW A SCITLS Storage & Backup Lead WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Manages and directs the storage administrators that maintain SAN, NAS, and Object storage.
• Maintains smooth operation of multi-user computer systems including storage and backup.
• Works with developers, service teams, project teams, and stakeholders to identify storage needs for systems, applications, and services.
• Researches, evaluates, and recommends storage solutions, upgrades, and new technologies.
• May implement upgrades and/or enhancements to server and storage filer infrastructure to support distributed, high volume data storage, and networked file sharing.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience
• Required Certifications: Security+
• Desired Certifications: ITIL 4 Foundations; CompTIA Storage+; NetApp Certified Data Administrator; or Dell EMC Proven Professional-specialist Storage Solutions; or Commvault Certified Professional; or Rubrik Certified Systems Administrator; or Veritas Certified Specialist
• Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI
• Location: Offutt AFB, NE
