Training and Development Specialist
Location: Remote (Telework)

Job Description
Trilogy Innovations is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Training and Development Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in managing and implementing training programs for large, complex IT systems. This position requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and the ability to work across all levels of the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality technical training materials, ensuring that training objectives align with program goals and organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Testing Procedures & Test Cases: Manage, coordinate, track, and implement system testing procedures and test cases for large, complex IT systems.
Curriculum Development & Instruction: Develop high-quality technical training curriculum, presentations, and instructional materials for in-person, online, and self-paced individual learning.
Adobe Captivate Expertise: Develop computer-based training modules and video tutorials using Adobe Captivate.
Training Strategy & Goal Alignment: Set training goals and objectives aligned with program and organizational goals, and develop and implement training strategies to enhance knowledge transfer and learning outcomes.
Functional Expertise: Provide subject matter expertise in training strategy development, curriculum development, training delivery, and technology-based training development.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with all levels of the organization to deliver effective training solutions, facilitate workshops, training sessions, and presentations for various audiences.
Documentation Review & Consistency: Prepare and review technical and programmatic documentation to ensure consistency with training materials, and identify and communicate impacts effectively.
Deliverable Management: Manage the development and quality of final training deliverables, and ensure client approval and concurrence of all deliverables and work products.
Communication of IT System Developments: Maintain and distribute up-to-date information about IT system developments to relevant stakeholders.
User Manuals & Training Materials: Collect and organize information to prepare user manuals, training materials, installation guides, style guides, proposals, and reports.

Required Qualifications
- Security Clearance Requirement: Qualified applicants must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust security clearance as a condition of employment.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in training and development, preferably within an IT or technical environment.
- Proven experience in managing and coordinating complex system testing procedures and test cases.
- Proficiency in Adobe Captivate for developing e-learning and video training materials.
- Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
- Experience with developing and delivering training materials for large IT systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
- Experience with government IT systems.
- Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other e-learning platforms.
- Technical writing experience in developing user manuals, technical documentation, and reports.
