The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Systems Product Architect to lead the technical solution for our OMIS-A ( Operational Medicine Information Systems - Army) Web Application Modernization and Migration project. This role will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of cloud-based architectures for modernizing and migrating legacy applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems architecture, cloud technologies, and application modernization strategies, with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the architectural design for modernizing and migrating legacy applications to cloud environments.
  • Develop and maintain the overall technical vision and roadmap for application modernization eff orts.
  • Create high-level product specifications and design documents for cloud-based solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions.
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate cloud services and technologies for modernization eff orts.
  • Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures that meet performance and compliance requirements.
  • Oversee the implementation of cloud-native design principles and microservices architectures.
  • Ensure the integration of security and compliance measures throughout the modernization process.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of professionals and managers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement for a large organization of software development professionals.
  • Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry best practices.


Qualifications:

Required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Soft ware Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in systems architecture or soft ware engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI).
  • Experience with Agile SAFe development methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of application modernization strategies and cloud migration methodologies.
  • Experience with microservices architecture, containerization, and serverless computing.
  • Proficiency in at least one cloud platform's services and best practices.
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to various audiences.


Desired
  • DoD IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+) or higher.
  • Experience working in a DoD environment
  • Experience with Army testing or application development

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$85,800 - $180,200
