The Opportunity:
This role is responsible for administrative duties in support of the Military Sealift Command-wide process improvement program encompassing 16 individual projects. The "Global Maritime Campaign Plan," distributed in March of 2024 is the guiding document for this program. This project is fast moving and requires quick thinking and solid Excel, PPT, Visio and organizational skills.
This is a hybrid position located in Virginia Beach, VA.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$39,500-$79,000

This is a hybrid position located in Virginia Beach, VA.
Responsibilities: :
- Providing administrative support as directed to help the project champions and the teams driving their respective projects
- Maintaining our library of presentation artifacts on the project's SharePoint site
- Developing and updating presentations
- Taking words and crafting them into optically pleasing diagrams, PPT presentations and charts as needed
- Providing support for off-site seminars and presentations
- Other duties as necessary
Qualifications:
- Active or SECRET clearance
- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 2 -5 years' experience in supporting fast-paced, ever-changing executives in the execution of their work
- Strong MS Office Suite including Excel, PPT, and Visio
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to be able to come to MSC headquarters on differing days in a given week. Expectation is 2-3 days per week on-site thus 2-3 days per week remotely, but requirements will vary.
Desired:
- Experience in the Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control methodology for process improvement
- Graphic Arts background
