Unmanned Systems Specialist, Senior

As a senior Unmanned Systems Spe cia list, you'll bring your technical expertise to work on Department of Defense ( DoD ) cross-service portfolio assessments and policy analysis. You'll consult on technical subjects and provide expert advice, support, and coordination related to DoD acquisition programs for unmanned systems. You'll be a t rus ted advisor to our clients, and we'll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies , and processes across the joint mission space.

You'll guide the work we do on unmanned system policy and integration while providing solutions to the Warfighter.

You Have :

  • 10+ years of experience collaborating with DoD and interagency stakeholders to manage simultaneous projects across multiple time horizons
  • 3+ years of experience working in unmanned or counter unmanned system policy analysis, acquisition, or integration
  • Experience supporting or participating in the unmanned systems Commer cia l-off-the-Shelf ( COTS ) Review Board process
  • Experience providing technical analysis to address key issues and challenges pertaining to DoD's current and planned unmanned platform programs
  • Experience reviewing and tracking resource data to prepare senior leader-ready material, and drafts of offi cia l corresp ond ence
  • Ability to c ond uct analysis on various platforms and weapon s in support of acquisition programs, portfolios, and mission areas
  • TS / SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree


Nice If You Have :

  • Experience with the Defense Acquisition Lifecycle and accelerated acquisition pathways
  • Experience working autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • Acquisition, supply chain, or logistics certifications from Defense Acquisition University

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
