Position Description:
CGI is seeking a Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team! We take an innovative approach to supporting our client, working side-by-side while using emerging technologies. In this role, you will be an integral part of the Salesforce team, assisting the team in driving code, testing, deployment, and documentation efforts for various projects related to our client's Salesforce instances.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Use modern tools, techniques, and methods to develop, modify, or update applications used by business units or infrastructure units. Help determine unit needs and business processes that are automated by the application. Participate in reviewing the steps in the software development life cycle to create and modify the software.
This position can be located at any CGI office in the U.S, preferred location is Knoxville, TN
Additional available locations: Lafayette, LA; Lebanon, VA; and Arlington, VA
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
1+ years of professional experience with Salesforce development
A strong understanding of the Salesforce platform.
Experience in gathering requirements and feedback.
Knowledge in supporting existing Salesforce solutions.
Must be able to update and maintain Salesforce functionality, fixing bugs or issues within the platform.
Experience in configuring and enhancing functionality in the Salesforce.com platform using declarative and/or programmatic solutions.
Some hands-on experience with APEX and Visualforce
Desired Skillset
Certifications in Salesforce (such as Salesforce Developer, Admin, Cloud Consultant etc.) preferred

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $59000 - $100,000
