Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Chantilly, VA
Clearance: FSP
Footbridge is seeking highly skilled and motivated Online Operations Infrastructure Engineers to support a critical customer mission. The selected candidates will provide technical expertise and guidance to evolve online operational capabilities, ensuring alignment with current and emerging technologies while maintaining operational continuity. This includes designing and maintaining secure infrastructure components, integrating innovative technologies, and supporting current operations in dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, build, configure, and maintain secure infrastructure and infrastructure components for online operations.
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies, services, and methodologies into existing operational environments.
• Develop and deliver updated technical guidance to support evolving online operations.
• Stay current with emerging internet technologies and assess their security and operational implications.
• Perform technical assessments of products and services for secure integration into Sponsor systems.
• Document solution architectures, integration processes, and system interfaces.
• Align all activities with the Sponsor’s Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• Coordinate and lead stakeholder engagements including requirements sessions and user feedback meetings.
• Utilize Sponsor-approved tools to track issues, action items, and progress.
• Conduct functionality and integration testing of new and existing systems.
• Collaborate across multiple teams to ensure successful implementation and support of online capabilities.

Required Qualifications:
• Proven experience in evaluating and integrating new technologies into secure operational environments.
• Strong background in infrastructure design, virtual environments, and mobile emulation.
• Familiarity with:
o Android OS and mobile device security
o Social media platforms and associated security concerns
o Commercial messaging applications
o Network analysis and browser security
• Technical troubleshooting expertise across networks, hardware, and internet services.
• Ability to consult with end users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, especially when conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience with:
o VPNs, VPS, VPCs
o Emulated mobile devices
o Virtual environments
o Secure communications technologies

• Experience with commercial cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with advanced network technologies and tools, including:
o TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs
o VLANs, EtherChannel, IP addressing, and subnetting
o Network monitoring tools and browser extensions
• Experience with online anonymity technologies such as Tor.
• Understanding of internet encryption protocols.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
