As a software engineer at MITRE, you will provide systems engineering support to a variety of programs related to law enforcement, national intelligence, and government information systems. You will work on some of the most challenging technical and programmatic issues facing our federal sponsor located in Clarksburg, West Virginia.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Working with the project team in a dynamic environment to develop and deploy cloud infrastructure using IaC best practices
- Assists in building and maintaining Active Directory environments with specific skills related to GPO and user management. In addition, assist in developing and maintaining PowerShell scripts related to the environments.
- Assist in the deployment and management of Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) and the applications that reside on this platform
- Must be able to adapt to a quickly evolving technological environment. Capable of becoming comfortable with new technologies and providing input on solutions to challenging technical issues.
- Work location in Clarksburg, WV or McLean, VA
Basic Qualifications:
This position requires a foundational understanding of cloud deployment technologies and methodologies:
- Experience with Terraform
- Experience with Ansible
- Experience writing Azure Log Analytics queries (KQL)
- Active TS Clearance is required
- This position requires a minimum of 50% hybrid on-site presence.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Azure Cloud, specifically experience related to storage accounts, virtual networking, and compute deployment
- Experience with Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) clusters architecture and deployment
- Experience with deploying and maintaining large, scalable applications to Azure Kubernetes Services
- Proficiency with Grafana, specifically Grafana integrations with Azure Kubernetes Services and Azure cloud services monitoring via Azure Log Analytics
