Country Intelligence Group is seeking a full-time System Administrator – Level 2 to provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support for Information Technology (IT) systems in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues, while providing detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal stakeholders on escalated tickets.
The candidate will support dispatch system operations, ensuring reliability and responsiveness in resolving system and hardware-related problems. Additionally, the candidate will configure and manage Linux, UNIX, and Windows operating systems, performing installations, updates, and enhancements to optimize system performance and security.
This role requires strong problem-solving skills, hands-on experience with multiple operating systems, and the ability to maintain system integrity through proactive troubleshooting and network configuration. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring system reliability, security, and operational efficiency across enterprise IT environments.
Tasks Performed:
• Provide in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems
• Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets
• Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process
• Configure and manage LINUX, UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance
Education, Experience and Qualifications:
• Minimum High School Diploma/GED with at least 15 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Engineering or Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or Information Systems with at least 10 years of relevant experience
• Certified Widevine Implementation Partner (CWIP) Certification Compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I (i.e. security+) is required
• Experience in system administration, troubleshooting, loading software, and configuration of network and software packages
• Experience implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance
• Linux / Unix command-line

Job Location and Term:
• Please note this is currently a DAY SHIFT position requiring every other weekend. The shift is 6AM to 6PM Monday and Tuesday, (off Wed/Thurs), 6AM-6PM Fri/Sat/Sun, (off Mon/Tue), 6AM-6PM Wed/Thurs, repeat. At any time, it could be necessary to change shifts or help with coverage
