Job Title: Operations Manager
Location: San Diego, CA
Job Summary:
Rivet Operations Company "Rivet" has an opening for an Operations Manager to join our rapidly growing team in San Diego, CA. The Operations Manager will support the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command by providing command operations professional support services. Rivet is a leader in physical and cyber security, financial management, logistics, and facilities management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Not listed in order of importance; other duties may be assigned) and must be able to perform the following with minimal guidance:
* Responsible for the management and coordination of branch, plant, or department operation strategies and activities and may assist with the review, development, and implementation of organizational policies, procedures, and attainment of operating goals.
* Review, analyze, and prepare reports, records, and directives, and confer with various stakeholders to obtain data required for planning activities.
* Assign responsibility for specific work or functional activities and disseminate policies and objectives to staff.
* Establish communication between outside personnel to request services and various products to maintain operations.
* Respond to interruptions of business operations to mitigate damage and restore normal operations.
* Review designs, implement new processes, and support continuous improvement for daily operations.
* Conduct daily building walks to monitor the operation and condition of the facility. Monitor for service desk request resolution.
* Coordinate construction impacts to tenants and resolve schedule conflicts.
* Develop and maintain a Continuity of Operations / Continuity of Business Plan updated yearly by performing various tests and exercises.
* Support safety operations and programs designed to maintain OSHA compliance.
* Ensure that personnel are evacuated and accounted for during emergencies where buildings must be evacuated.
* Maintain compliance with all Operational Security, Information Assurance, and Foreign Disclosure programs.
* Support OTC mail deliveries, ensuring proper Division / Department receive the correct mail by managing a centralized mailroom.
* Receive and transmit classified material in compliance with all regulations.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities

* Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint; and Adobe Acrobat Professional
* Ability to work with various Navy and Marine Corps Systems
* Works well in a team environment
* Bachelor's level degree required or equivalent experience
* 7 years professional experience in operations management
* Must be a US Citizen able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance for the position
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Possible lifting up to 25 lbs.
