Work you'll do

• Support and regularly update System Security Plans (SSPs) in collaboration with stakeholders to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate security compliance activities with offshore teams, providing guidance and facilitating communication to align with organizational policies.
• Document and maintain security controls, policies, and procedures, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
• Conduct assessments of access control mechanisms, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend remediation measures.
• Prepare detailed reports on security assessments, compliance status, and access control evaluations, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to identifying security issues.
• Prior experience working on GPS Integrity Eligibility, or any other welfare system a plus
• Strong understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, FedRAMP, and other relevant standards

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
• Must be local to Sacramento, CA and able to come onsite in Sacramento, CA and travel around the Sacramento, CA area.
• 5+ years of experience working with RMF and NIST 800-53
• 5+ years of experience supporting and regularly updating System Security Plans (SSPs)
• 5+ years of experience with security control assessments

Preferred:

• Prior professional services or federal consulting experience
• Certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP)

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $97,875 to $163,125.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
