Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team and drive the development and implementation of cutting-edge manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts. In this collaborative environment, you will play a key role in adopting new technologies and processes such as automation, robotics, and computer-aided manufacturing software to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, fabrication, and material handling.
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies and processes (automation, robotics, computer-aided manufacturing software) to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
  • Create and analyze 3D model data to optimize manufacturing processes and digital work instructions.
  • Leverage understanding of materials and automated processes to define operational procedures and build sequences for operational excellence.
  • Evaluate the performance of equipment and tools, including IoT devices, to verify efficiency and initiate corrective actions for problems and deficiencies.
  • Utilize factory data to develop statistical process control approaches and integrate reporting and data analytics solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Provide input to product design regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Manufacturing Environment Experience: Proven experience working cross-functionally with industrial engineering, planning, scheduling, Quality Assurance, and production planning.
  • Manufacturing Processes Knowledge: Expertise in fabrication, assembly, machining, and electrical processes across various disciplines such as composites, metallics, machining, bonded assemblies, and installations.
  • Lean Manufacturing and Process Improvement: Demonstrated experience with lean manufacturing principles and process improvements.
  • MRP Systems and MES Applications: Proficiency with MRP systems, SAP, or other Manufacturing Execution System (MES) applications.
  • First-Time Build Experience: Hands-on experience with first-time builds and product development.
  • First-Time Product Development: Proven track record in first-time product development projects.
  • Catia V5: Advanced proficiency in Catia V5.
  • Sub-Systems Experience: Experience with sub-systems integration.
  • Aviation Experience: Background in aviation-related manufacturing processes.

An ACTIVE U.S. Government Security Clearance is Required to be considered for this role.
