Job Description:
Are you an expert in planning and scheduling with a passion for supporting mission-critical projects? We are seeking a highly skilled Planning Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide planning and scheduling support across multiple locations to meet diverse mission requirements. In this role, you will assist in the development and maintenance of the Program Integrated Master Schedule, including proposal schedule development, and support Statement of Work and Basis of Estimate development. You will advise the Program Management team on contractual impacts and critical events that may affect delivery or cost, ensuring effective communication and cross-coordination with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide planning and scheduling support to meet multiple mission requirements across various locations.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of components of the Program Integrated Master Schedule.
  • Develop proposal schedules and support Statement of Work and Basis of Estimate development.
  • Advise the Program Management team on contractual impacts and critical events.
  • Ensure effective communication and cross-coordination with IPTs.
  • Utilize Critical Path Methodology in schedule network development and analysis.
  • Develop and refine knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Interact across various program functional organizations such as engineering, procurement, contracts, business management, and production.
  • Prepare status reports, metrics, and presentations as required.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Be a self-starter with hands-on experience in Program Planning and Scheduling.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Experience with Critical Path Methodology.
  • Experience in schedule control processes, proposal development, internal and external audits, and project management integration.
  • Proven experience in proposal development.
  • Experience providing risk and opportunity analysis input.
  • Proficiency with Deltek Open Plan Scheduling Tool.
  • Experience working on Engineering Manufacturing and Development (EMD) programs.
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Demonstrated experience with IPMDAR (Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Report).
Desired Qualifications:
  • Ability to work independently across technical teams, developing a basic understanding of the technical product.
  • Experience with Capture, Research & Development, Production Scheduling Requirements, and dependencies between functions.
  • Experience working on Engineering Manufacturing and Development (EMD) programs.

An ACTIVE U.S. Government Security Clearance is Required to be considered for this role.
