Nightwing is seeking an experienced BD Director of Strategy & Sales Enablement support their growth organization in Dulles, VA.
This individual will be responsible for the following areas of focus:
Strategy:
- Assists in developing and implementing long-term growth strategies
- Provides data, analysis, and insights to inform key decisions
- Leading and overseeing cross-functional projects to achieve strategic goals.
- Supports Account Executives, BD Managers, and Capture Managers with strategic ideas and resources to support bids
- Builds and maintains strategic partner lists and ensures strategic relationships are leveraged in bids
- Leads or supports Price To Win strategies as needed
Resource Alignment:
- Builds and maintains relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Leads sales enablement and cross-BU capability alignment
- Collaborates with CTO and Solution Architects on technical innovation and cross selling of capabilities
- Promotes and upholds the organization's culture and values.
Program Support:
- Act as BD Lead to support standup of new programs (understanding bid commitments, and supporting necessary program transitions to ensure success)
- Available to advise programs on strategic capabilities, opportunities, M&A and support billable programs as necessitated to execute strategy

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- The ability to lead and motivate teams, build consensus, and drive projects forward.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- The ability to identify and solve problems effectively.
- The ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and other key individuals.
Required experience:
- 5+ years of experience as an organization leader
- Strong understanding of P&L management
- Proven record of building a consensus to drive organization change.
- Ability to understand the full life-cycle of federal contracting work (pipeline, capture, proposal, kickoff, delivery, shutdown).
- Unique understanding of federal initiatives including executive orders and policy shaping
- Experience with Shipley method for proposal management
- PMP certification a plus
- TS clearance required
