Position Overview/Responsibilities for the SE Architecture Team Lead:
- Act as the first line of leadership for all SE Architecture team members, reporting to the SE Engineering Manager.
- Maintain accurate metrics of team progress and ensure quality control.
- Support all team staffing responsibilities, including interviewing new candidates, addressing team performance issues, and supporting team member growth and development.
- Define and ensure compliance with SE Architecture team processes.
- Work in an integrated team environment with system, software, and specialty engineers to develop solutions.
Required Skills for SE Architecture Team Lead:
- Bachelor Degree in Math, Science, Engineering or related discipline. MS is desirable.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in a related engineering environment, or equivalent experience.
- Secret Clearance required.
- Understanding of systems engineering process and principles.
- Experience developing system engineering artifacts.
- Familiarity with the application and use of systems engineering tools for requirements management and Object-Oriented requirements definition.
- Engineering leadership, identification and definition of desired capabilities, fielding of new capabilities.
- System-of-system definition, integration practices and methods.
