Responsibilities
- Responsible for various project management tasks and managing requirements for migrating servers in support of a hardware tech refresh project
- Supports the lead Project Manager in all phases of managing the project, including planning, scheduling, coordinating system deployments, etc.
- Hosts teleconferences according to times required by customer, manage communications with stakeholders at various levels, and document meeting minutes
- Responsible for submitting migration requests
- May also be tasked to support other network core service projects
Qualifications
- Must have 8 years of IT/applicable experience (A BS/BA can substitute for 4 years)
- Knowledge and experience in the following areas is required: MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project
- Active Secret clearance
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior DoD or USAF working environment experience a plus
- Capable of leading tasks involving data processing and other information management professionals who have been involved in analysis, design, integration, testing, documenting, converting, extending, and implementing automated information and/or telecommunications systems
- Understanding and experience in AF-level policy and guidance for AFNetOps
- Experience working with external support organizations: i.e. AFLCMC, Program Management Office, ESC, and AFSPC Staff
- Presentation and writing skills
- Knowledge of the following services: DC, DHCP, MECM, DRA, LC
- Understanding and experience in AF-level policy and guidance for AFNetOps
- Previous experience supporting a large IT implementation effort
- Experience working on classified systems and working with classified information
- Ability to provide off-hours migration support as needed
