Position Description:
Serves as a professional authority in one engineering discipline or specialty area. Conducts preliminary and advanced design studies and develops solutions to complex analytical, design, and test problems. Contributes to systems philosophy and design objectives. Writes specifications and engineering reports as a result of advance studies, special engineering investigations, and similar activities.

Pay Band Information:
$116,000 - $250,000

A successful Subject Matter Expert - Technical at ACI will:
- Perform as an expert of all program technology capable of establishing, operating, and troubleshooting systems of systems.
- Works with the Nett Warrior Team (System Integration Lab) as the primary liaison to Project Manager Close Combat Systems (PM CCS) and Product Manager Terrain Shaping Obstacles.
- Provide guidance to ensure the integrity and interoperability between systems and higher command networks is maintained.
- Provide guidance on technical capabilities, requirements, integration, and technical data package information about the NW system, including software (SW), the software development kit (SDK), and the ATAK application and Watchtower analytics.
- Provide guidance on the NW Software Development Kit (SDK), application programming interfaces (APIs), executables and existing documentation to support the development of TSO capabilities.
- Provide guidance for download and read access to any relevant SharePoint or other information repositories as required.
- Assist with the RMF process.
- Assist in enabling TSO capabilities on the NW platform.

- Due to the sensitive nature of this work, a US Government clearance is required, and all applicants must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
- Must currently possess or have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
- Must possess a High School diploma and with 14 years' experience or, Associate's degree and 12 years' experience or, Bachelor's degree and 5 years' experience or, Master's degree and 0 years' experience.
- Ability to plan for and execute the Army's current tactical network environment, including software-defined tactical radio systems. Experience with the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of these networks.
- Experience in using Android Tactical Assault Kit (ATAK)
- Experience with Army Battle Command Systems; NW, JBC-P, etc....
- A background in planning and operational military tactical networking including battle command platforms and transport layers.
- Experience with Close Terrain Shaping Obstacles.
- Certification in network administration.
- Background in Radio Frequency knowledge.
- Experience with military software and System of System testing.
