Overview:
Quantum Research International, Inc. Mission:

Quantum Research Intl. is seeking a motivated Technical Writer /ANALYST who also possesses analytic skills to work as a member of the Threat Systems Management Office's ACIERS Team in our Huntsville, AL locations.

RESPONSIBILITY:
  • Design, develop, and maintain templates in support of customer engineering projects, acquisition activities, and other initiatives. Includes formatting and lay-out design
  • Writing, editing, and proofreading complex technical documentation.
  • Providing writing support for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create or edit graphics for documents and presentations.
  • Evaluating and editing content to determine appropriate syntax, style, grammatical usage and tone for effective communication delivery and reception that aligns with company vision and business objective.
  • Consistently research and write high quality, polished written communications for official emails, reports, and presentations/
  • Working independently on large, moderately complex projects/assignments.
  • Assisting other professionals with editing tasks and assignments.
  • Communicating with colleagues across multiple areas (project managers, subject matter experts, or other professional resources).
  • Willingness to work alongside other editors or independently in various classified environments within multiple buildings spread approx. a 5-mile radius as required.
  • Perform cyber threat intelligence collection at open source and classified levels, using multiple analytical tools, in order to provide clients an understanding of the threats and risks the networks and systems face.
  • Research emerging threats.
  • Provide evaluations on the current threats to vendors and components (hardware and software) and make recommendations for mitigations.
  • Proficiency in using open source tools and web scraping techniques for information.
  • Develop risk profiles for suppliers, vendors, assembly locations, and other critical supply chain components.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of Technical Writer/Editor experience or equivalent on the job experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of technical publishing standards and familiarity with style guides.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, technical staff, and project managers.
  • Proven organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and Adobe Pro.
  • Strong formatting proficiency in MS Word styles (e.g., tables, headers, footers).
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Productivity software and Adobe
  • US Citizenship required and DoD secret security clearance with ability to obtain/maintain a TS if required

Desired Skills and Qualifications:
  • Solid knowledge of SharePoint Online layout and ability to design new content libraries.
  • Experience with Power Automate
  • Experience with Power BI
  • Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, In Design, Photoshop
  • Top Secret/SCI clearance eligibility is highly desirable

Certifications:

  • Applicable Certifications include but are not limited to any of the following: Technical Writing industry software certification to include MS Office Suite, SharePoint, Power BI and technical certs are a plus-example: Security+, Cybersecurity Analyst/CySA+, Cyber Threat Intelligence/GCTI, Cyber Analyst Course).
