Tyto is seeking a DISANet Systems Monitoring Center (DSMC) Specialist to join our Defense Enclave Services (DES) team at Ft. Meade, MD. This DSMC Specialist will be a team member that provides sustainment, maintenance, and problem and change management services to help ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of DOD networks and services.

Responsibilities:

* Manage integration of the network system management tools.
* Perform network Management Systems monitoring and reporting.
* Operate as a team member on a 24 x 7 x 365 operational support team focused on identifying, responding, and resolving alerts / incidents.
* Provide network monitoring technical support and analysis for network systems and components, LAN/WAN communications, and transmission systems, including Wireless LAN infrastructure.
* Perform critical/emergency systems administration tasks affecting the production environment.
* Maintain the availability of environments for projects and follow application deployment/configuration plans.
* Follow standard, repeatable, and business adaptive processes for the delivery and support of network services.
* Learn existing network environment services along with the associated infrastructure and the specific metrics used to manage its health.
* Evaluate network topologies, layouts, and services.
* Implement reporting and dashboards based on monitored network services.
* Utilize reporting tools to generate ad-hoc and daily/weekly/monthly reports.
* Onboard / off board network and other assets to maintain a current and up-to-date monitoring infrastructure.
* Create twice daily status reports and outage reports.
* Document significant events within the Master Station Log (MSL).
* Create incident tickets and escalate to the appropriate teams within the approved timeframe for network outages.
* Track the status of network outages and VIP tickets, including higher level outages.
* Provide onsite support with flexible working hours; be available to support the team when needed based on mission need.

Required:

* Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience; additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
* System administration experience (4+ years).
* Experience with Active Directory.
* Experience with monitoring tools, such as SolarWinds, NetCool, InfoVista or other tools.
* Experience creating/running SNOW ITSM reports.
* Active DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE), prior to start.

Desired:

* Experience using SolarWinds.

Clearance:

* Active Secret Clearance
* Must be a U.S. Citizen

Travel Required:

* Up to 10% of the time.

Potential for Telework:

* No remote work.

Compensation:

* Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically $80K-$99K. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
