Country Intelligence Group is seeking a Signals Analyst – Level 1 to support signal exploitation and analysis efforts. In this role, the candidate will contribute to the development of signal intelligence (SIGINT) capabilities, analyzing waveforms and bit-level data to determine signal characteristics and enhance operational effectiveness.
The candidate's responsibilities will include collecting, evaluating, and documenting recordings of new or previously unexploited data, ensuring accurate classification and analysis. The candidate will also be responsible for translating analytical findings into briefings, effectively communicating signal characteristics for identification and exploitation.
This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a foundational understanding of signal processing principles. The candidate will work alongside a team of experts to advance signal exploitation capabilities and contribute to mission success.
Tasks Performed:
• Support a range of analytical products and functions to allow for development of signal exploitation capabilities
• Determine signal characteristics of waveforms or bit level necessary for the exploitation of signals of interest
• Perform the collection, evaluation, and documentation of recordings of new or previously unexploited data
• Translate analytical results into briefings to communicate characteristics of signal for identification and/or exploitation
Education, Experience and Qualifications:
• Must have performed as a Signals Analyst supporting the Intelligence Community or US Military for at least 3 years (Required)
• Ability to support 8 hour rotating shifts (05:45-13:45, 13:45 - 21:45 with 14.5% shift differential, and 21:45 - 05:45 with 21.2% shift differential), including weekends and holidays, to ensure mission coverage
• Experience developing techniques and tools for collecting, evaluating, analyzing, documenting, locating, and presenting information in accordance with established requirements and priorities
• Familiarization with Signals Intelligence and collateral report repositories and ability to demonstrate the incorporation of independent research to enhance target development
• Experience with packet and stream protocols and other advanced technologies over IP
• Experience identifying analytic vectors
• Experience in the use of software applications and databases associated with Signals Intelligence target development
• Linux / Unix command-line
• Scripting (Bash, Shell and/or Python)
• Familiarity with data and voice communications technologies
• Familiarity with network protocols
• Apache NiFi (preferred)
• Basic Communications Signals Collection and Processing Course (450) (preferred)
Other Job Requirements:
• Minimum Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph
• U.S. Citizenship, and successful background check
