Description:
You will be the Subcontract Admin Staff for the Global Supply Chain Management team. Our team is responsible for providing logistics and sustainment support to multiple programs and platforms, making a significant positive impact on the warfighter.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Subcontract Admin Staff, you will be responsible for supporting the Program Management Team and managing subcontracts to ensure efficient and effective logistics and sustainment operations. You will work closely with suppliers, buyers, and other stakeholders to negotiate terms and conditions, manage supplier relationships, and drive program success.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Supporting Program Management Team in efficiency initiatives
• Negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers and related subject matter experts
• Managing basic and complex subcontracts, including those with Spec/SOW driven requirements
• Preparing and releasing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and evaluating proposals
• Managing supplier relationships and performance to achieve program and customer goals

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
•Strong background with various contract types, such as T&M, Labor Hour, and Cost-Plus.
•Experience with Federal Government contracts/subcontracts, including familiarity with FAR/DFARS regulations.
•Ability to analyze and evaluate complex proposals and data.
•Knowledge of procurement principles, including developing specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions.
•Strong understanding of subcontract management principles, processes, and best practices.
•Proven problem solving and negotiation skills
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
•Ability to analyze multiple data sources
•Understanding Negotiations and ability to analyze pricing to establish a negotiation position
•Demonstrated experience with proposal evaluations (Price/Cost Analysis) and negotiations, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Acquisition Regulations (DFAR).
Desired Skills:
•Background in competitive procurement
•Cross-functional knowledge of Supplier Quality and Engineering, as they relate to subcontract management
•Ability to create and present using Microsoft Office tools
•Ability to interact with senior management, suppliers and other external personnel on significant matters, often requiring coordination between functional organizations
•Ability to work independently and exhibit excellent problem-solving skills.
•Ability to negotiate subcontract provisions and manage supplier relationships.
•Experience in SAP
•Well organized and able to prioritize competing requirements
•Must be willing to re-locate to Lexington, KY area
•Effectively communicate with all stakeholders (leadership, peers, suppliers)
•Proven ability to analyze proposals to verify accuracy, completeness and compliance
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where adapting to change quickly is essential; and great attention to detail
