USGI is seeking Project Managers to support the Department of Justice's (DOJ) Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) Program. The OCDETF Program forms the centerpiece of the DOJ counternarcotics strategy, and uses prosecutor-led, multi-agency task forces to combat the most serious drug cartels. The mission of the OCDETF Program is to reduce the supply of illegal drugs in the United States and diminish the violence and other criminal activity associated with the drug trade.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversees and manages a project or multiple projects, from inception to deployment, in work similar to what is described in the Statement of Work (SOW), providing day-to-day management
  • Ensures that all parties, e.g., top management, rank-and-file employees, contractor management and employees are kept apprised as to all pertinent information and requirements
  • Provides guidance and direction in multiple tasks across several functional areas
  • Oversees overall contractor performance

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and ten (10) years of experience
  • Experience in managing projects through all phases, from conceptualization to completion/provision of deliverables
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work with individuals at all levels
  • Ability to plan and organize complex work effectively
  • Ability to supervise employees

CLEARANCE:

An ACTIVE DOD Top Secret security clearance is required for this position.

POSITION HOURS/LOCATION:

These positions are based in Washington, DC and are contingent upon contract award.
