This position requires that the applicant selected currently possess and maintains an Active US Government TS/SCI with poly clearance. The position further requires the applicant will obtain a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform GPS work. Failure to maintain (or obtain, if applicable) the appropriate U.S. Government clearance and/or customer screening requirements that results in the employee unable to perform the requirements of the role, may result in employment action up to and including termination.

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Certification in PMP.
  • 5 years of experience in technical program management.
  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Active US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance with polygraph.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience managing execution and high quality product delivery.
  • Experience working with or for U.S. State, Local, and Education organizations.
  • Experience in executive level communications.
  • Experience in problem-solving across distributed, fast-paced and constantly changing environments.
  • Ability to be an influential leader of an integrated team of both technical and non-technical members.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Google Public Sector Services within Google Cloud provides product and implementation expertise, enabling our customers to realize the full potential of their cloud investments. As a Technical Program Manager, you will specialize in the business and technical program management of complex cloud engagements. You will serve as the central point of contact for Architects, Engineers, customers, partners, CTO/CIO stakeholders, ensuring program execution, including planning and executing comprehensive governance frameworks for cloud adoption, IT transformation, and migration projects.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
  • Drive the end-to-end program management of complex, multi-functional Google Cloud Professional Services projects, encompassing strategic planning, partner collaboration, delivery excellence, and accuracy tracking.
  • Mitigate risks and ensure alignment with customer objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as a strategic liaison, coordinating with Google Engineering to define integration strategies, enterprise architectures, and application infrastructure, translating complex requirements into actionable plans.
  • Manage program resources, finances, and performance metrics, empowering teams and partners to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Communicate complex subjects to customer executives, stakeholders and internal resources, and collaborators.
