Responsibilities
Noblis MSD's mission is to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCPD) and their missions' to enable research, development, test and evaluation, acquisition, engineering, systems integration, in-service and fleet engineering with cybersecurity, comprehensive logistics, and life-cycle savings.
Noblis MSD is actively recruiting for a Logistician & Integrated Logistics Team Manager, to support the US Navy, responsibilities include the following:
- Developing and maintaining a sound knowledge of all aspects on U.S. Navy Integrated Logistics Support as it relates to surface ships and submarine Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) systems.
- Ensuring the consistent application of company project management policies, processes and standards.
- Management of day-to-day operational aspects of assigned project.
- Risk management on assigned projects.
- Ensuring project documents and deliverables are accurate, complete and current.
- Identifying areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.
Team Manager responsibilities include:
- Review and approval of project team timesheets and travel / expense reports in a conscientious and timely manner.
- Reviews all monthly status reports submitted by each team member and addresses issues as appropriate.
- Provide clear and concise reports on team performance and deliverables.
- Ensure adherence to standard policies and procedures.
- Track and manage labor and ODC funding levels for all team members and ensure the appropriate Program Managers are alerted to anticipated funding shortfalls and/or period of performance issues at least six (6) weeks in advance of funds exhaustion or POP expiration.
-Manage and track prime contract and/or subcontract POCs, documents, and deliverables.
-Work Project Control Office (PCO) team to monitor and update financial tracking spreadsheets and expenditure plans for direct reports.
Client Management:
- Develop and maintain solid professional relationships with all clients.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with all stakeholders to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions.
- Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships, while aligning team goals with client success metrics.
- Build a knowledge base of each client's business, organization, and objectives.
-Maintain communication with customers regarding project statuses, risks, and key milestones.
Technical Understanding:
- Develop a solid understanding of the work performed for the clients supported by the project team.
- Develop a very good understanding of our capabilities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a Logistics field and 5+ years of professional experience working in an engineering or technical field. Or HS and 11 years professional experience in Logistics, and/or Naval experience.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis' total compensation package.

USD $77,000.00 - USD $120,275.00 /Yr.

Required Qualifications

- Prior experience managing staff or overseeing a team.
- Prior experience working on U.S. Navy and/or other DoD programs preferred.

- Active Secret Clearance (US Citizen)

- Mentor / Train Logisticians, Analysts, and team Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
- Maintain relationships with NSWCPD Customers.
- Possible travel 10-25% based on projects and/or physical location to Noblis offices.
