Overview
VTG is seeking a System Administrator to work at a Clients Site.
What will you do?
The System Administrator will help to ensure the smooth functions of IT systems, monitor for potential issues in a proactive manner, and support compatibility between systems for a flagship integrated combat system for the Navy. They will also govern datacenter operations.

What will you do?
The System Administrator will help to ensure the smooth functions of IT systems, monitor for potential issues in a proactive manner, and support compatibility between systems for a flagship integrated combat system for the Navy. They will also govern datacenter operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure software, hardware, and networks.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshooting issues.
- Ensure security of IT infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot issues and outages.
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
- Be proactive about challenges or constraints within the program and manage them accordingly.
- Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including materials, manpower and time necessary.
Do you have what it takes?
- Active DoD Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field or applicable work experience.
- Six years of experience as a System Administrator, preferably in the government sector.
- Demonstrated experience with VMware (Vcenter).
- Experience with Cisco ACI products or related Cisco technical environments.
- Experience with data system security.
- Experience with creating scripts in Python, Perl, or other scripting languages.
- Professional experience and high-level understanding of working with various operating systems and their implications.
