Job Summary
B&A is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Developer, focused on HCM and payroll, r to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience working with PeopleSoft 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.59 or greater. This role involves developing, maintaining, and enhancing PeopleSoft applications with a focus on application design, integration, customization, and troubleshooting. The developer will also need to leverage business analysis skills to gather and analyze requirements and work closely with stakeholders to ensure that business needs are met efficiently. A strong understanding of PeopleSoft components, workflows, integration, and security is essential.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain PeopleSoft applications using PeopleSoft 9.2, PeopleTools 8.59 (or greater), and related technologies.
- Develop and maintain PeopleSoft application interfaces, including Application Engine, Component Interface, Fluid, and BI Publisher.
- Work with Application Workflow Engine to create and maintain workflows to automate business processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Utilize SQL/TOAD for database management, query development, and troubleshooting.
- Implement PeopleSoft Security to ensure that applications are secure and access control policies are followed.
- Develop and integrate API Integration to connect PeopleSoft applications with other systems and technologies.
- Collaborate with business analysts to gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with technical capabilities.
- Provide technical expertise during business analysis, including translating business needs into functional and technical specifications.
- Participate in code reviews and quality assurance activities to ensure that code meets high standards and is free from defects.
- Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and issue resolution for PeopleSoft applications.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance of PeopleSoft systems, ensuring that applications remain operational and effective.
- Maintain system documentation and support procedures for all PeopleSoft development activities.
- Ensure compliance with best practices for PeopleSoft development and integration, particularly in areas such as security and data integrity.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5-10 years of hands-on experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.59 or greater.
Required Skills
- Solid experience in PeopleSoft development using Application Engine, Component Interface, Fluid, BI Publisher, Application Workflow Engine, and API Integration.
- Strong experience with SQL/TOAD for database querying, management, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with PeopleSoft Security and managing user roles, permissions, and access control.
- Familiarity with full development lifecycle from gathering requirements to deployment and maintenance.
- Strong expertise in PeopleSoft Application Engine for batch processing and integration.
- Experience with Component Interface for application integration and communication between PeopleSoft and external systems.
- Proficiency with Fluid User Interface for delivering modern, responsive designs in PeopleSoft applications.
- Advanced knowledge of BI Publisher for generating reports and documents.
- Strong understanding of Application Workflow Engine for automating and streamlining business processes.
- Solid understanding of SQL/TOAD for developing and optimizing queries, as well as managing the PeopleSoft database.
- Experience with API Integration to enable communication between PeopleSoft and third-party applications.
- Experience with PeopleSoft Security to ensure proper user access management.
- Ability to work with business stakeholders to understand and gather requirements.
- Experience in translating business requirements into technical specifications and ensuring alignment with development activities.
