ASRC Federal System Solutions is seeking an Ancillary Satellite-Systems Manager in Colorado Springs, CO.

This position supports Operations and Maintenance (O&M) for the Modernization of Enterprise Terminals (MET) and the Milstar Satellite Communications terminals. The ASM is responsible for managing and maintaining multiple programs associated with and in support of the mission systems. The ASM typical hours are Mon - Fri, day shift hours to mirror the government customer duty day; however, the position will require alternate and/or extended shifts on a limited basis in order to support mission requirements. The ASM reports directly to the SATCOM site lead and may be called on to support additional tasks such as O&M activities on mission equipment and supporting baseband equipment, facilities, power, and other tasks as needed by company/contract leadership.

Duties:
  • Manages and maintains ancillary programs in support of MET and Milstar communications terminals
  • Manages site COMSEC program, performing COMSEC Responsible Officer (CRO) duties as outlined by the government customer and all associated regulations
  • Manages site supply and logistics functions to include regular inventories; ordering, disposal, and turn-in of mission system and supporting equipment; working with outside agencies to conduct regular inspections; and managing logistics programs IAW all associated regulations
  • Serve as primary POC for maintenance management functions and ensuring data accuracy within maintenance information systems such as IMDS
  • Manage site records management program IAW all associated regulations; manage site training records, Technical Orders, publications, etc.
  • When directed by site lead, performs O&M technician duties and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
  • Supports other contract functional areas as required


Requirements:
  • Must have current IAT Level 2 certification (Security + or equivalent).
  • Bachelor Degree and 2-4 years experience in O&M environment or equivalent experience/training
  • Completion of SATCOM/communications/systems operations and/or maintenance course or equivalent experience required
  • Must be able to work shift
  • Requires an active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance Experience managing a major Air Force/Space Force program (CRO, Supply/Logistics, etc) or equivalent experience is highly desirable
