In this role, you will assist in defining requirements for tools, equipment, materials, parts, and processes used in the engineering design, manufacture, and maintenance of client products. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in defining requirements for tools, equipment, materials, parts, and processes.
- Draft engineering specifications and documents to manage deployment.
- Evaluate emerging technologies for potential business applications.
- Help develop and qualify new tools, equipment, materials, parts, and processes.
- Perform routine tests and audits to qualify suppliers.
- Conduct routine analysis to determine performance or reasons for failures.
- Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Develop computer and production systems to meet user requirements.
- Use project management tools to meet cost, technical, and schedule requirements.
- Incorporate environmental health and safety, LEAN, and Quality principles into materials and processes, research, design and qualification, work procedures, and labs and office areas.
- Ability to obtain Secret Clearance
- 2+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Manufacturing Research and Development experience in mechanical/structures assembly, materials and processes engineering, and/or manufacturing research and development.
- 1+ years of experience with 3D modeling tools.
- Project Management experience.
- Active Secret Clearance
- 3D Printing experience.
- Rapid Solution Creation and Deployment.
- Technology Implementation experience.
- Knowledge of electrical installation, teardown, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of aircraft mechanical/structural buildup and teardown.
- Bachelor of Science degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry. (STEM)
