This role involves integrating ServiceNow with enterprise systems, optimizing workflows, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance IT service management processes.
Key Responsibilities
Application Development: Design and develop custom applications and modules using ServiceNow's Studio IDE and App Engine.
Customization: Modify and configure existing ServiceNow applications to align with business processes.
Integration: Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
Scripting: Write and debug client-side and server-side scripts, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, and Script Includes.
Workflow Automation: Implement and manage workflows using Flow Designer and Workflow Editor.
User Interface: Develop and enhance Service Portal pages and widgets to improve user experience.
Testing: Conduct unit testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure quality deliverables.
Documentation: Maintain technical documentation, design specifications, test plans, and user guides.
Support: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed applications.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Certification: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is desired.
Experience: Minimum of one year in ServiceNow development and administration.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS.
Experience with ServiceNow’s Glide API and data schema.
Knowledge of REST/SOAP web services and integration methodologies.
