Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Suffolk, VA
Overview:
SkyBridge Tactical is seeking a motivated Project Manager to support the U.S. Navy’s Information Warfare (IW) Type Commander (TYCOM) Strategic Planning, Project Management and Navy Warfare Training System (NWTS). Supporting the Navy organize, man, train, equip, and certify Navy IW Forces, and related activities to the required levels of current readiness afloat and ashore.
This Position is Contingent upon Contract Award to SkyBridge Tactical LLC
Responsibilities:
The Project Manager’s Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Interface with the COR on all matters pertaining to this PWS.
Direct the contractor’s efforts through the company’s internal management system.
Provide project progress visibility to assure on-time completion of contract requirements.
Provide day-to-day management of project efforts, which involves handling all concerns/issues/obstacles that each of the listed tasks may encounter.
Provide documentation for all deliverables and will be capable of mediating between the different task efforts.
Prepare and input monthly reports.
Perform initial background check of employees before the employee reports for duty.
Manage employees to ensure that Government clearances are returned upon employees’ termination and ensure requests for renewals are submitted in a timely manner.
Oversee centralized administrative, clerical, documentation, and related functions.
Act as the primary point of contact between incumbent and COR.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in operations research, operations management, applied psychology, or other related field of study.
Five years of experience in managing complex projects or programs.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Capability for preparation of reports and correspondence that are technically correct; and coordination of scheduling and support relative to the Joint Warfare Training System or NWTS, and Joint Warfare Training Plans or NWTPs.
TS/SCI clearance.
Demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior Experience with Navy IW
Experience working with the METL for Naval Units
Security Clearance Requirements:
Active DOD TS/SCI Clearance
Physical Requirements:
