Job Summary
Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure the integrity and reliability of information systems, products, and services. This role involves leading software testing efforts, identifying defects, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards and end-user requirements. The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst will develop and refine testing procedures, document issues, and recommend process improvements to enhance overall quality. Additionally, this position serves as a key resource for technical writers and other quality assurance personnel, driving workflow efficiency and continuous improvement in quality assurance processes.
Skills / Experience Required
Quality Assurance Analyst skills/experience required:
* Active Secret clearance required
* 5-7 years of experience in quality assurance functions
* Manage and oversee the inventory process for all assets
* Develop, maintain, and update programmatic and technical documentation to support planning and execution
* Implement and execute Quality Assurance (QA) and Configuration Management (CM) processes following a structured Quality Control Plan (QCP)
* Identify policy requirements, review, revise, and establish new policies, and provide guidance to staff and management
* Adhere to and enforce standard operating procedures for Quality Assurance
* Summarize and report test results to management and stakeholders
* Oversee corrective actions and implement measures to prevent recurrence of defective services
* Support project management activities, including gathering updates and tracking project progress
* Coordinate interview scheduling and assist with recruitment efforts
* Assist with new hire onboarding and access requests to ensure smooth integration of employees
* Provide support for customer requests, ensuring timely and effective responses
* Identify, document, and report quality issues to relevant teams for resolution
* Verify corrective actions and ensure the resolution of identified quality issues
* Analyze quality data to identify trends and recommend process improvements
* Regularly review and refine standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Education / Certifications
* Bachelor's degree, preferred (computer science, information technology, Cybersecurity, or have equivalent experience)
