Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our CGI team in Los Angeles, CA!
This career opportunity is located at our downtown Los Angeles, CA office with work also performed at client site in Downey, CA. Work collaboratively onsite with clients and the CGI team at our downtown CGI office as well as client site between 2 to 5 days per week.

Work closely with project managers and team leads to create comprehensive action plans concerning resources, scope, and timeframes for projects
Work closely with the project managers from CGI and our clients to perform various coordinating duties such as schedule development, scheduling, and risk/issue management

Your future duties and responsibilities:
How you'll make an impact
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Project Management Office (PMO)
Responsible for tracking and monitoring all contractual management requirements for the project including milestones, deliverables/work products, risk and issues, project decisions, progress against schedule, invoicing, contract amendments, meeting logistics and facilitation, and other administration requirements as needed
Promptly identify and escalate project issues to the Project Directors
Organizes and participates in project meetings/sessions and propose improvements, if necessary
Prepare the presentation materials for the meetings and status reporting, including executive level reporting
Scribe meeting notes and share with the Project Directors and team for broader distribution
Manage project-related documentation by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
Follow-up on client/project accounts receivable and accounts payable
Coordinate with software providers and partner vendors to ensure our teams receive the necessary support, software renewals are tracked and up to date, and invoices are processed on time
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
What you'll bring
3 years experience as a Project Coordinator or equivalent position
Adhering to project procedures in all project management plans
Managing the coordination and integration of project teams PMP plans
Implementing PMP associated policies, processes, and practices
Managing the development, packaging, and submission of project deliverables/work products and milestones
Maintaining Issues Log and formulate recommendations for the Project Directors and Project Management Team
Maintain the Risk Register and assist Project Management Team in identifying and mitigating project risks
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Attention to details even under pressure
Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
A team player with a collaborative and flexible attitude
Self-motivated and organized
Minimum Education Required: Bachelors Degree; equivalent related experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills:
Customer service oriented
Experience with ERP products
Experience with SharePoint, Jira, PowerPoint, MS Project
Awareness / Knowledge of Agile project management principles

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $68,100 - $119,200.
