ASE is looking for an IT Services Procurement and Delivery Specialist to work in Honolulu, HI. This is a 16-week temporary position with potential for future permanent employment. The IT Services Procurement and Delivery Specialist serves as a Contract Technical Representative, supporting contracted hardware, software, and networking requirements. This role is crucial for overseeing service requests including new systems, major modifications to existing systems, and the integration of emerging technologies. The specialist supports a portfolio encompassing 11,200 IT services, 3,700 systems, various Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) applications, VIP services, and other IT-related contract offerings. Responsibilities
- Key responsibilities include assisting directorates and subordinate commands in determining the feasibility of IT requests under current DoD service contracts, defining the scope of IT requirements, and providing pricing details.
- The specialist supports Asset Management and analyzes IT service requests for Move, Add, and Change (MAC) operations, translates these into electronic forms, and submits them for processing while ensuring timely execution.
- The role requires maintaining a comprehensive understanding of service contracts, managing technical refresh cycles, providing Contract Line-Item Number (CLIN) interpretation, and advising on cost-effective solutions. Broad knowledge in network concepts, standards, and protocols is essential to identify system deficiencies and suggest corrective measures.
- The IT Services Procurement and Delivery Specialist is expected to track all IT service deliveries, report any delays, and stay updated on contract modifications and policy changes.
Qualifications
- Active SECRET clearance.
- Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
- Bachelor's Degree in IT field or equivalent experience with IT project management.
- At least 2 years of experience with Contracted networks and/or DoD contracting.
