The right candidate will possess the following skills and capabilities and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.
GENERAL DUTIES:
- Oversees the configuring, managing, monitoring, and maintaining government Command and Control (C2) voice and video collaboration devices.
- Subject matter expert for architecting, implementing, testing, and troubleshooting enterprise collaboration solutions supporting an operational voice and video network.
- Develops collaboration architecture designs, studies and plans; supports design, test readiness, and operational readiness reviews.
- Provides senior program managers with recommendations on voice and video collaboration approaches and strategies for new and continued business.
- Develops, implements, and manages voice and video collaboration processes including design standards to ensure compliance, relevancy, and sustainability.
- Performs capacity planning of the collaboration services by monitoring and analyzing network, performance and availability of voice and video services.
- Researches and evaluates tools and technologies, as appropriate, to the collaboration environment, while developing solutions to increase performance and lower the total cost of ownership.
- Provides Tier III and IV support by providing trouble resolution of the voice and video infrastructure and perform on-call duties and off-hours support when needed.
- Flexible with scheduled support of outages after hours and on weekends.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree with communications focus or equivalent plus 10 Years of Experience in networking, architecture/design, development, and implementation of voice and video collaboration architectures.
- Cisco Certified Collaboration Expert (CCCE), Cisco Certified Voice Expert (CCVE), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE), or Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) certification.
- IAT Level 3 Certification or IAM Level 3 compliant professional certification (i.e. CISSP, CISM, GSLC, GCIH, CISA, GCED, or SCNA).
- Must have experience and understanding with the future of Cisco's SIP and Cisco Unified Communications Manager.
- Must have proven ability to architect, implement and support video infrastructure solutions for conferencing, gateway transit, and mobile platforms.
- In depth implementation and troubleshooting experience of collaboration using concepts/protocols such as H.263, H.264, bandwidth resolutions and frame rates, frame picture formats, HDMI resolutions, G7.xx audio frame rates, voice and video encryption, and device certificates.
- Experience with voice and video collaboration systems such as the CUCM, UCS platform, CMS Meeting Server, Telepresence Management System, Video Communication Servers, Multi-controller Units, and Voice Gateways.
- RedCom and Cisco Suite experience.
- Experience with Network Engineering Collaboration, CCNA, CCNP, Variphy Cisco CDR Reporting and Call Analytics, Sigma Phone Conferencing, Cisco Prime Provisioning, Cisco Call Manager, Cisco HyperFlex, Cisco Prime Collaboration Assurance, Redcom Sigma Core, and Redcom Slice.
CLEARANCE:
- TS/SCI minimum and the willingness to obtain PSD clearance.
