Venturi, LLC A Chenega Company has an exciting career opportunity for a Facilities Analyst Advanced who will support the Missile Defense Agency's Facilities Operations and Sustainment efforts at Redstone Arsenal, AL. This individual will work on the TEAMS Next Facilities Life Cycle Management (FLCM) contract.

This position is hybrid, so the candidate will occasionally be required to attend in-person meetings and use on-site-only IT equipment. Therefore, candidates must reside within commuting distance (~50 miles) of Redstone Arsenal, AL.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of an interdisciplinary technical team on facility projects
  • Support the Government Project Manager to plan, program, execute, and document Military Construction (MILCON) and facility sustainment, restoration, and modernization (SRM) projects
  • Participate in master planning activities, with emphasis on sites and facilities
  • Produce project status reports
  • Draft, review, and contribute to technical reports and documentation
  • Obtain, analyze, distribute, and archive technical and contractual information
  • Develop scopes of work to address facilities deficiencies
  • Prepare decision documentation at the General Officer/Senior Executive Service level to include briefings and supporting materials such as executive summaries, courses of action status reports, and information papers
  • Participate in design charrettes, reviews, and meetings associated with Military Construction (MILCON) and Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization (SRM) projects
  • Draft, coordinate, staff and maintain Facility Requirements Documents
  • Produce and/or support configuration management plan development, revision, and execution
  • Prepare, coordinate, and track to closure Facility Change Proposals
  • Review and develop responses to construction, repair, and renovation projects design documentation, requests for information, and submittals
  • CONUS and OCONUS travel
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required:
  • Have a BA/BS degree with 13+ years of relevant experience.
    • An MA/MS in any field may be sustituted for 3 years of relevent experience.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current DoD Secret clearance


Desired:
  • Missile Defense Agency and/or DoD facility planning, design, and construction
  • Experience with facilities equipment installation, checkout, and commissioning
  • Experience with facility related control systems
  • Experienced in project/construction surveillance and reporting
  • Proficiency with scheduling software
  • Experience with construction cost estimating
  • Development of DoD Form 1391 for MILCON programming
  • Experienced in working projects with the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Naval Facilities Engineering System Command (NAVFAC), and host installation Base Civil Engineer (BCE) or Department of Public Works (DPW)
  • Experience with OCONUS and international construction projects
  • Experience with risk management and mitigation

  • Relevant facilities planning, design, construction, and maintenance knowledge working as a member of a team to assist with solving complex problems
  • Ability to read and analyze maps and site layouts
  • Identify stakeholder requirements and organize them in requirements documentation
  • Extensive knowledge, skills, and abilities as an analyst
  • Ability to analyze project documents, meeting notes, and team correspondence to extract issues requiring senior leadership attention, and prepare briefs for communicating to target audience
  • Ability to learn and support multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment
  • Capable of leading the development and utilization of analytic tools, techniques, and processes for both technical and administrative support activities
  • Ability to resolve issues and make sound decisions which are in the best interest of the government customer
  • Capable of working independently or in a team to solve problems, organize work tasks, and prioritize workload
  • Capable of providing daily supervision and direction to support teams
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Ability to analyze design and construction schedules
  • Attention to detail in work and developed products
  • Able to develop strong rapport with personnel representing internal and external organizations
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office and Adobe software suites
