Prospective candidate will provide Mid-level integration engineering support to USSOCOM PEO-FW for MC-130J test and development, and program management. These duties will require technical knowledge of the subjects, blended with government programmatic understanding.

Responsibilities
The successful applicant will provide Developmental Test and Evaluation (DT&E) flight test engineering for ground and flight test operations in support of SOCOM Special Operations MC-130 Program. Tasks will include:
• Integration oversight and problem solving
• Build strong relationships with MC-130J stakeholders
• Connect developers, integrators, and developmental testers
• Maintain contact list for vendor and USG POCs and stakeholders
• Coordinate with USSOCOM Det 1 MC-130J Test Director for on-aircraft integration activities
• Facilitate/support on-aircraft integration and test (ground/flight), and knock down barriers
• Raise integration issues to technical / programmatic POCs and/or leadership for decision/action
• Plan and schedule resources to support integration and test
• Report on status of ongoing integration and test
• Work closely with MC-130J Enterprise Systems Teams
• Support other MC-130J Demonstrations prioritized by PEO-FW MC-130J Integration leadership
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree (electrical, computer, aeronautical, or equivalent)
• 7+ years' experience w/ Air Force aircraft Development Test & Evaluation (DT&E)
• APDP Level I certification (Engineering, Program Management)
• Above average written and verbal communication
• Demonstrated planning, coordination and execution skills on previous Light Attack, C-130/MC-130/AC-130, or similar programs
Desired Qualifications:
• Master's degree (electrical, computer, aeronautical, or equivalent)
• 10+ years' total experience
• APDP Level II certification (PM)
• Flight Test Engineer
Related skills include:
• Knowledge of installed aircraft systems/subsystems and support equipment
• Knowledge of avionics/mission systems, munitions systems and comm/radar systems
• Knowledge of OSD and Air Force T&E policies
• Experience designing and building test plans, ground and flight test cards, final reports, Test and Evaluation Master Plans
The ability to interface with all levels to include project management, end users, and OEM vendors is desired. Above average oral and written communication skills are required. Exceptional planning and coordinating skills are also required.
• Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. For this position, an active Secret security clearance, with a current background investigation is required.
