Position Title: Quality Assurance Analyst Senior

Work Location: Detroit Arsenal, Warren, MI

Salary Range: $65,000-$75,000

Job Summary

KaiHonua, LLC has an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Analyst Senior to join our rapidly growing team. Under general direction, carries out procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet organization standards and end-user requirements. Performs and leads tests of software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects. May create test data for applications. Documents and works to resolve all complex problems. Reports progress on problem resolution to management. Devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations. Acts as information resource about assigned areas to technical writers and other Quality Assurance Analysts. Performs complex workflow analysis and recommends quality improvements.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties (Not listed in order of importance; other duties may be assigned) and must be able to perform the following with minimal guidance:

* Manage inventory process of all assets
* Create and maintain programmatic and technical documentation to insure efficient planning and execution
* Execute Quality Assurance (QA) and Configuration Management (CM) processes and procedures, well-documented in a Quality Control Plan (QCP)
* Identify policy needs, review, revise, and establish new policies while advising staff and management
* Follow standard operating procedures for Quality Assurance
* Summarize and report test results
* Oversee corrective actions and non-recurrence of defective services.
* Manage Inventory Process
* Assist Project Manager (Gathering updates)
* Coordinate Interview Scheduling
* Assist with New Hire Onboarding and access requests
* Assist with supporting customer requests
* Reports quality issues to the appropriate team
* Verifies fixes of quality issues
* Identifies potential quality issues and escalates the issue to management when necessary
* Prepares quality reports for internal review
* Analyzes data and recommends potential improvements in the quality process
* Make recommendations to revise and update standard operating procedures as needed
* Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience/Certifications

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity, or other related discipline is preferred or have equivalent experience.
* Five to 7 years performing quality assurance functions

* Capable of conveying complex information in a simplistic manner
* Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
* Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision
* Able to take proactive measures to prevent problems rather than reactive by nature
* Strong verbal and written communication to effectively express concepts, plans, and proposals

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. May include lifting weight up to thirty (30) pounds as necessary.

Security Clearance

Position requires a Secret security clearance. Must be a US citizen.
