Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior/Lead Earned Value Management (EVM) Specialist to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in overseeing and managing a variety of high-visibility projects and initiatives, with a particular focus on Earned Value Management activities. This role will require expertise in managing key financial data, ensuring the integrity of project reporting, and providing insights into cost, schedule, and performance metrics. The individual will help manage a demanding workload, including proposals, internal surveillance, invoicing, CFSRs, IPMRs, and other key deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide senior-level EVM support across multiple critical internal initiatives and high-visibility proposals.

Lead and manage the preparation and analysis of Earned Value Management data, including IPMRs, internal surveillance, and CFSRs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project financials are accurate and aligned with cost and schedule baselines.

Troubleshoot and resolve invoicing issues and provide actionable recommendations to mitigate risks.

Assist with 22F close-out determinations and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.

Develop and implement processes to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of EVM reporting.

Support program teams with EVM insights, project performance metrics, and corrective actions.

Act as a subject matter expert on EVM principles, tools, and techniques.

Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior team members and analysts.

Required Qualifications:

Experience: 8+ years of experience in Earned Value Management (EVM), including at least 3-5 years in a leadership or senior role managing complex, high-priority projects.

Skills & Expertise:

Strong understanding of EVM principles and industry standards.

Hands-on experience with tools like ClearPlan, Costpoint, Deltek, or other EVM software.

Proven ability to prepare and analyze EVM reports such as IPMRs, CFSRs, and other performance-based reporting.

Excellent project management and organizational skills.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure environments.

Experience managing or collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).

Desired Qualifications:

PMP or similar certification.

Experience with government contracting and compliance standards.

Ability to mentor and guide less experienced team members.
