Position Overview
LCS Defense is seeking a highly motivated Program Specialist with expertise in program management, information technology solutions, and organizational analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting engineering staff, financial management, project tracking, regulatory compliance, and process improvement within a government or defense contracting environment. The Program Specialist will be responsible for analyzing work processes, recommending improvements, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Duties:
• Hardware Experience
• Knowledge of field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs)
• Knowledge of ModelSim, for VHSIC hardware description language (VHDL)
• Verilog HDL coding and simulations
• Xilinx tools
• HAIPE Experience
• Algorithm Evolution/Post Quantum Experience
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor's degree in systems engineering or related field
• Experience:
◦ 5-10 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications
• Software languages (Java, C, C++, Ruby on Rails)
• Operation systems (Unix, Linux, Windows)
