Systems Engineer

Kavaliro is seeking a Systems Engineer to support a client in Virginia.

Required Skills:

• Demonstrated experience performing as an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE), preferably for the Sponsor.
• Demonstrated experience supporting systems security practices, policies, regulations, or guidelines. Demonstrated experience with system design concepts and implementation, with emphasis on cyber security principles, issues, and technology.
• Demonstrated experience with cloud security engineering.
• Demonstrated experience with information security protocols and software.
• Demonstrated experience providing recommendations on security policies procedures, and requirements related to safeguarding systems.
• Demonstrated experience providing security support for the development and accreditation of systems.
• Demonstrated experience reviewing security plans, evaluating risk mitigations, and providing feedback, and guidance related to compliance with current policies. Demonstrated experience with Assessment & Authorization.
• Demonstrated experience with the Sponsor's A&A process

Location:

• Chantilly, VA
• This position is onsite and there is no remote availability.

Clearance Requirement:

• Candidates must have an active TS/SCI security clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.
