Our client is currently seeking a SAP Basis Administrator - Lead Enterprise Analyst
USC only and active secret required
This is an Operational Support role, not just an admin. Resource has to be onsite for attending operational support when required. Candidates must be USC with Secret Clearance. Must me in the area, max 1hr from Westminster, CO. If called, they need to be onsite in max 1hr. On call 24x7 every other week. 1 Interview only. This is covering a short/mid term medical leave, but could be extended. Must Have
• US Citizen
• Thorough knowledge of database management with Oracle
• Experience performing Backups, Restores, System Refreshes, and managing data dictionary
• Strong documentation, analysis, and problem solving skills
• Experience with Linux operating systems
• Experience with ETL and Data Warehousing best practices and effects on an SAP environment
Summary SAP Basis Administrator, responsible for hands-on SAP Basis administration. Candidates must have demonstrated experience in day to day production support, monitoring, tuning, advanced troubleshooting skills, proactive system analysis, and standard SAP Basis administration activities.
What you'll do day-to-day (with your colleagues): Supporting the entire SAP Landscape including Sandbox, Development, Quality Assurance, and Production Ensuring the SAP environment is reliable, stable, and all integrity is maintained Maintaining an error free operating environment with 99.99% availability and sub-second average response time SAP application and database performance tuning Managing and executing SAP transport requests between environments Investigating and implementing Service Marketplace notes, support packs, and enhancement packs Working with business users, test users, and application delivery team members on resolving issues or investigating new opportunities; Communicating and implementing upgrades and patches to the SAP Landscape Evaluating technical and architectural solutions to meet a business requirement Prioritization of activities to support business and project requirements Assisting developers with development activities, problems and questions Providing user support via our ticketing systems Configuration and troubleshooting of: SLT-R, Fiori, OData, Vertex SIC, ALE/IDOC, ADS, and Java Stack SAP Printer configuration and maintenance Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum requirements for this position: US Citizen Thorough knowledge of database management with Oracle Experience performing Backups, Restores, System Refreshes, and managing data dictionary Strong documentation, analysis, and problem solving skills Experience with Linux operating systems Experience with ETL and Data Warehousing best practices and effects on an SAP environment
These skills would be amazing:
Experience in running SAP in a Clustered environment TDMS experience would be beneficial Running SAP in a Disaster Recovery scenario would be an asset Equivalent of Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or related field.
