Responsibilities
Arcfield is looking for a Database Administrator to join our team to provide Sponsor database administration activities.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Design, develop, and maintain database tables and object stores, and implement security accesses.
- Maintain and administer configurations for development database environments.
- Maintain current versions of database software and apply relevant patches, as announced by the product vendor.
- Monitor Sponsor database performance and investigate/resolve all performance issues: script development for database cleanup, forecasting, monitoring.
- Establish, document, and perform data recovery procedures, as necessary.
- Perform research and resolve issues associated with system databases.
- Review batch output, identify errors, and take corrective actions, as necessary.
Qualifications
Required:
- Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering) with 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
- Five (5) years of experience providing Database Administration support including Oracle DB administration.
Desired:
- Three (3) years of experience supporting Database Administration and/or software development activities and/or projects within the IC.
- An active certification related to database administration, system engineering, or software engineering or development.
