Strategic Analysis, Inc. (SA) seeks a Science and Technology (S&T) Analyst to support the DoD's oversight activities related to the Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDCs) and University Affliated Research Centers (UARCs).

Location: This is a hybrid position. On-site work with our government clients in the Mark Center of Alexandria, VA is anticipated to be 1-2 days per month, and subject to change based on client requirements, classified processing, and in person meeting attendance.

As a Science and Technology Analyst you will:
• Provide administrative, technical, and programmatic support to the OUSD(R&E) FFRDC/UARC Director.
• Assist in preparing for meetings, to include coordination of calendar of senior DoD personnel; preparation of announcements, agendas, read-ahead documents, meeting minutes, and technical briefing materials; management of logistics travel arrangements, and related support.
• Monitor and prepare responses to action items, correspondence, and requests for programmatic information.
• Prepare draft papers to include technical evaluations, weekly reports, information papers, and action memoranda.
• Prepare presentation/briefing materials to include research of technical content, graphics, and production.
• Draft and coordinate policy materials, including DoD Directives and Instructions; facilitate formal stakeholder review and support the adjudication of comments and edits.
• Provide administrative support for office business policy and procedures.
• Maintain broad situational awareness of R&D efforts, budgets, personnel levels, and other resources.
• Support the planning and facilitation of annual technical reviews and assessments, and assist in preparation, review, and coordination of written summaries.
• Assist in the collection, analysis, and presentation of FFRDC and UARC data.
• Facilitate collaboration across the FFRDC and UARC programs and the Department.

QUALIFICATIONS

Clearance: An active DoD SECRET clearance is required.

Education: A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a technical field or business is required. A master's degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or business is preferred.

Experience:
• Minimum five (5) years' recent and relevant experience is required; prior experience supporting the DoD is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, unstructured verbal interactions, briefings, and meeting moderation.
• Ability to work independently with both junior and senior staff in a distributed environment while maintaining a strong commitment to deliverables and schedules.
