Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Manager to support the Datalink Routing and Gateways for Aerial Networks (DRAGAN) Branch , which is within the Cyber & Networks Directorate and located at Hanscom AFB, MA.
WORK LOCATION: Hanscom AFB
JOB STATUS: Full Time; salaried

JOB STATUS: Full Time; salaried
Responsibilities:
- Provide acquisition program management support to the Link-16 Alaska (LAK) and Scalable Portable Integrated Data Router (SPIDR) programs.
- Support program execution, contract administration and budget planning for the LAK Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) contract
- Review and provide comments to reports and products submitted by the CLS contractor
- Prepare and present program status reports and support IPT and stakeholder meetings as required
- Prepare acquisition program documentation as required
- Support program management reviews, senior level meeting/reviews, and IMP/IMS reviews.
- Monitor contractor deliverables, program schedules, and performance, providing recommendations to maintain program alignment.
- Assist with source selection strategies, evaluation criteria, and other acquisition-related tasks, including technical evaluations and risk assessments.
- Ensure alignment with acquisition reform policies, Air Force instructions, and DoD directives, recommending updates to programs as needed.
Qualifications:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Must have an active US Security Clearance
Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 20 years of experience, 10 years of which must be in the DoD
- Comprehensive knowledge of principles, policies and practices of systems acquisition and program management, as defined in DoDI 5000.02 and 5000.75, as well as knowledge of roles and relationships within the DoD and the Air Force
- Possess knowledge of qualitative and quantitative techniques for gathering, analyzing, and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of acquisition programs
- Possesses the ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation including but not limited to briefings, documents,and plans
