Job Description
- Be able to work in a rapid paced environment and must be able to work independently.
- Lead the onboarding and standup of new enclaves and compute environments.
- The candidate works independently to maintain the smooth operation of a multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators.
- Duties include setting up administrator and service accounts, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocate mass storage space.
- Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
- Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery.
- Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
- Creates, maintains, and implements detailed documentation and maintains standard operating procedures.

The Software-Defined Networking (SDN) team plays a crucial role in this contract. This contract focuses on the operation, defense, and sustainment of the Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) and the Defense Information System Network (DISN)
The SDN team is responsible for developing and implementing advanced networking solutions that enhance the flexibility, efficiency, and security of these critical networks
Location Information
Mostly remote. To start off, will be onsite about 2 times a month Eventually will become 75% remote once they start migrating to AWS
