Piper Companies is looking for an AV Field Engineer to join a commercial and federal systems integrator. This is a full-time position and fully onsite in the DC, Maryland, Virginia area at client sites. Up to 30% out of state travel could be expected as well.

Essential Duties of the AV Field Engineer:
- Configuring, deploying, and completing all commissioning tasks required for acceptance walkthrough, training, and signoff of the AV system.
- Test full system functionality.
- Perform site inspection for installation quality.
- Run through system operation and trouble shoot issues.
- Work with project foreman to address any installation issues during commissioning.
- Perform on-site end user training for all systems
Qualifications of the AV Field Engineer:
- 3+ years of experience in AV installation, commissioning, and service.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Top Secret clearance.
- Experience in field commissioning, troubleshooting, and deploying Crestron equipment (other manufacturers like AMX accepted)
- HS Degree required
- Technical School Certification or Community College (preferred)
Compensation for the AV Field Engineer:
- $90,000 - $115,000 (based on experience)
