Tyto Athene is searching for an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) Lead to support the Department of Energy's Enterprise Security Operations Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Required:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or a related field; OR Master's degree in a relevant field can be beneficial and may enhance your qualifications.
* A minimum of 7 years of experience leading teams in information security, systems engineering, or a related field is required.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in IT security and information assurance technologies.
* Leadership Experience: Experience in leading a team, managing projects, and providing technical guidance to junior team members is crucial.
* Technical Expertise: Knowledge of current and emerging technologies, operating systems, and security best practices.
* Communication: Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle security incidents and vulnerabilities
* Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with other IT teams and stakeholders.
Desired:
* CISSP, CISM, CISA and/ or Other Certifications: Additional certifications like CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate), GSLC (GIAC Security Leadership), CASP (Certified Advanced Security Professional), and others can also be advantageous.
Clearance:
* DOEQ & Top Secret Clearance required

Compensation:
* Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position will commensurate with experience.
