Responsibilities:
The successful Jr. Systems Analyst will provide end user production support for multiple government offices. The selected candidate will demonstrate an understanding of technical specifications based on business requirements and functional specifications. They will provide end-user help desk support to users of the following systems:
• PSC WorkSmarter: An Appian, Blue Prism, and Oracle based platform that hosts various federal applications, including case management, reports, dashboards, workload tracking, agreement processing, budget formulation, and electronic file repositories
• PSC OneView: A Salesforce-based platform that hosts various federal applications that support project planning, travel planning, intraoffice communication, and intake and badging
In addition, they will also assist in requirements gathering, performing application testing, and preparing technical and end user documentation for various system functionality, processes and procedures.
Requirements/Qualifications:
This position requires completion of four-years of post-high school education in a computer science/IT related field and/or 2 years of related experience. The selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Required skills:
o Strong communication skills
o Ability to work both independently as well as within a team.
o Ability to follow directions, take ownership of work, and meet deliverables/deadlines.
o Ability to adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLA)
o Ability to understand complex federal processes
o Ability to analyze end-user needs and provide thorough resolutions
o Experience troubleshooting system issues, testing resolutions, providing feedback to escalation teams, and informing end users of issue resolution progress
• Preferred skills:
o Oracle Database 11g , SQL, PL/SQL
o Appian, Salesforce, or robotic process automation (RPA) development experience
o Experience with the project lifecycle development process (analysis, design, code, test, migrate)
The base salary range for this position is $45.000- $60,000 . This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. For remote positions, the salary to be offered is geographic dependent
