This is a contingent position based upon contract award

Position Summary: Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing capabilities-based assessments, verifying and validating current USSTRATCOM strategic weapon system planning programs, and emerging commercial systems. The role involves using a trigger-driven environment for modeling and simulation, conducting focused technology studies, and performing engineering analyses to improve system performance, survivability, and cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Testing Experience:
  • Data validation testing
  • Functional testing
  • Usability testing
  • Accessibility (508) testing
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Infrastructure Maintenance: Develop and maintain project testing infrastructure
• Detailed Writing: Write detailed test scripts, test reports, and analyses for the product
• Full Lifecycle Participation: Participate in the end-to-end software development lifecycle
• Team collaboration: Meet with product design team and development team to determine testing parameters

• Location: On-site
• Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%
• Working Hours: Standard

Qualifications:

Required:

• Clearance: Active Top Secret security clearance
• Education: Bachelor's degree in an IT field OR BS degree in a non-IT field and 2 years related IT experience or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree
• Test Engineering Experience: Extensive experience in test engineering, particularly in the defense sector
• Test Case Experience: Experience developing Test Cases and conducted Verification and Validation testing for Use Cases and Bugs
• Business Logic Development: Past performance developing, refining and documenting Business Logic for use/test cases for personas
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Systems and architecture: Experience with NC3 systems and architectures
• Cybersecurity Knowledge: Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices in a DevSecOps Pipeline
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Leaderships: Exceptional leadership skills
• Team collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Project Management Tool: Experience using Jira
• Software Experience: Experience with Cameo
